Dr Samah Hafeth
Dr Samah Hafeth is a registered Oral Medicine specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation agency (AHPRA).
She finished her basic dental degree BDS in 1999 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Samah then became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2002 and obtained their MFDS RCSI degree. She then pursued further advanced training in the field of Oral Medicin at Melbourne University and was awarded two degrees: Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (GradDipClinDent) and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DCD) in 2006. This 3-year advanced training qualified her to register as an Oral Medicine Specialist in Australia. Samah then advanced her qualifications to obtain the Specialist Stream Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACS OM).
Samah works as a consultant at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne besides her private clinical consultations. She is a member of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia.
Samah has special interest in managing oral mucosal lesions, oral cancer and Temporomandibular Dysfuntion. She works in close collaboration with referring dentists and GPs.
